Our History & Facilities & Guest Safety
Established in 1995 by Dr. Florentina Clemente Romero, widow of Isidoro Romero and her seven children from the old family farm land that Trinidad Crisanto, great grandmother who ran the farm since the early 1920's. The business name "The Rock of Trinidad" is to honor her legacy.. The resort is on a hillside of natural rock formations, a natural forest which is a foothill of Mt. Makiling, a dormant volcano, the source of hot water springs underneath the marsh.
It is a wide open natural space with landscaping of seasonal flowers and ponds.. Hospitable staff maintain the premises for your enjoyment and safety. We envision a sustainable natural area of flowers, trees, aquatic plants, vegetable gardening and tilapia fishponds.
Pool Facilities at Laroca - From the slide, the hot water flows to the adult pool and a separate pipe fills the shallow pool for children.
Picnic Huts for 12-15 guests- with sink, grill, electric fan & tables.
Big Hut - a large open event shed for 20-40 people.
Picnic Tables for 6-8 guests, with Anahaw roof with access to free grills and sink.
Accomodations - Casa Florentina 1 and Casa Florentina 2 are on third floor of the Veranda building. Casa 3 is on ground floor, a small room.
Others are Sa Dulo Hotsprings, Hillside Cabana, Tubig sa Bato, Graciosa House.
A Wellness area, volleyball and badminton court, walk front to back on LaRoca Lane is 1/2 km for exercise.
SAFETY OF GUESTS, EMPLOYEES & the RESORT ENVIRONMENT
We try to ensure that guests enjoy their stay safely- there is always a lifeguard at the pool and the water is replaced twice a week to disinfect and clean the pools. The small immersion pools are filled only before arrival of guests and drained after. Guests are encouraged to shower first and use the foot bath. There are many sinks to wash hands, including the entrance gate. At entry, guests are provided a plastic container for excess meals or food brought in so it is not mixed in with other garbage. We discourage brown colored glass bottles - they cannot be recycled. Pets are not allowed to be in the sleeping rooms for sanitary reasons. Overflow water from pools go to the "Ilog
waterway ponds of Tilapia fish. Karaoke use is limited, please ask.

The staff is vaccinated. The resort is now accepting a limited number of guests to comply with Dept of Tourism & LGU rules. Parent or adult will sign safety waiver at arrival. Reservation for day visit 8 to 5PM or overnight 22 hours stay for us to plan so total guests allowed are not exceeded.

22 hour stay - Check in at 3 pm and out of room at 11AM. Deposit of 50% via BPI bank to hold reservations.
